Shorewisp Privacy Policy

Shorewisp is an Android app for painting fantasy maps. It is published on Google Play by Kitepear ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Shorewisp.

The short version

• Shorewisp does not collect personal data. We don't run servers for the app, and the app sends nothing to us.
• There is no account and no sign-in, and there are no ads, no analytics and no crash-reporting tools in the app.
• Your maps are stored on your device. We never see or access them.

Your maps

• Maps you create are saved automatically in the app's private storage on your device. Other apps can't read it, and we never receive it.
• If you uninstall Shorewisp or clear its data, your saved maps are deleted from the device.
• Backup: If Android device backup is on, your maps may be included in your Google account backup under Android's backup settings; we never see or access these backups. You can turn backup off in your device's settings.

Exporting maps

When you export a map, you choose where it goes through your device's share sheet or file picker. That is your action; the file goes where you send it, not to us.

Information you send us

• your emails (if you contact support).

Information Google may collect

Google Play and Android may collect information under Google's own terms and privacy policy, for example: - install and crash statistics from users who have chosen to share usage and diagnostics data with Google; - information you give Google when you make a purchase.

We may see aggregated, anonymous statistics that Google provides to developers (such as install counts and crash rates). They don't identify you.

Contacting us

If you email us at support@kitepear.app, we will receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you, and we delete the conversation when it is no longer needed. We keep support emails for up to 12 months, then delete them. You can ask us to access, correct or delete any support email you've sent by writing to support@kitepear.app, and we reply within 30 days. Sharing it is your choice.

Who Shorewisp is for

Shorewisp is intended for adults (18 and over) and is not directed at children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Security

Your maps stay on your device unless you export them, your Android backup copies them to your Google account, or you transfer them to a new phone. Their safety depends on your device's own security (screen lock, encryption) and your Google account's security.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change (for example, if we add a feature that needs to send data), we will update this policy and the effective date before that change goes live, and update our Google Play Data safety section.
